Concrete installation with lasting, professional results.

Any concrete additions to the surface of your land will permanently affect the flow of water over the terrain, so it’s essential to understand what will happen to this flow of water once the concrete is in place because surprises are never a good thing when it comes to drainage.

We will work with your land to properly grade it and prepare for this new drainage path.

Many of our past jobs have come from clients who initially hired the cheapest concrete contractor who did not provide a warranty, didn’t lay down vapor barriers, didn’t know how to finish their work properly or even consider future drainage.

Nobody wants to pay twice for a concrete project to be done right. Don’t end up like one of them and call the expert first.

Why Should You Hire A Master Concrete Installer?

The experts know the frustration, headaches and heartbreak that can come with hiring the lowest bidder.

We know it can be difficult to work with unproven contractors, making you ask yourself if they’re doing the job right.

This isn’t the case when you work with a master. You get the peace of mind that comes with hiring an expert who keeps to the schedule and keeps their word: you get someone who knows what they’re doing!

We’ve been in the concrete industry for over 15 years and very little has changed when it comes to installing concrete properly.

The best methods for installing concrete haven’t changed in hundreds of years.

Over 15 years of experience with concrete installation in and around Houston.

The hard part is perfecting the small details and that comes from hard earned experience and many years of jobs completed, trial and error and repetition.  When you hire someone who knows all the pitfalls, you get better results.

When it comes to pouring a new concrete surface, there are many things that must go 100% according to plan.

This doesn’t just mean getting a proper subbase material laid down with a vapor barrier. It means getting the slump and water to cement mixture just right along with many calculations. It means getting the correct target PSI from the mixing plant which means double checking the plant operators.

Forms and reinforcements need to be ready because once the pour begins, there’s no stopping or do-overs!

Along with all of the controllable factors, the weather needs to be just right. If it’s not, our job is to protect the pour or fresh surface from its effects. It’s not smart to pour concrete when temperatures are 40 degrees and falling because colder temperatures will slow or stop the chemical reaction that hardens the concrete into one common mass.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is your specialty?

Our specialty is all concrete flatwork and stamped. We pour flatwork including slabs, patios and poches, concrete driveways and parking lots, decks and sidewalks, plazas and courtyards, entry ways and verandas, breezeways, terraces, and anything else you can dream! Our artistic talents lie in stamping concrete surfaces, but we can build it all. We’re also able to restore, refinish and resurface your existing concrete surfaces.

Can you come take a look at my project?

More than likely, yes, we can come take a look at your project. When looking for a concrete company near you, it’s typical to want a concrete company in your area or concrete contractors closest to you to swing by and take a look. We provide free on-site evaluations and our service area includes Houston so we are able to travel to your location to give bids at  no charge.

Does my project require a permit?

If your project will need a permit, we will find out. Permits are typically required by local government and we are very familiar with the process to make sure your work is done according to the letter of the law so nothing comes back to spoil otherwise perfect concrete work. Great work being soured because the permitting portion of the project was neglected can be as upsetting as a bad pour. We won’t let that happen. Call us for an expert to help you navigate the permitting process.

Is stamped concrete worth the price? How much does stamped concrete cost?

Any hardscape surface will improve access to your property and provide an opportunity to complement the property’s existing architectural elements. It short, stamped concrete surfaces will increase curb appeal when properly installed. Concrete installation can cost anywhere from $10-$20 per square foot. To say what your project will cost, it’s important to first know the desired finish and dimensions. With this, we can easily give you an estimate.

What are my finish options for concrete?

The color pallet available from manufacturers will vary based on the actual product. Acid stains will have a more limited selection centered around the natural tones but can be mixed to adjust coloring or applied in multiple coats to increase depth. Water based stains come in more options and can be mixed to provide most colors on the spectrum.

Does my concrete need rebar reinforcement or a vapor barrier?

The short answer to both these questions is yes. However, there are examples of concrete projects that also require wire mesh or fiber reinforcement. It would be careless to pour a concrete patio without a vapor barrier. This is what leads to sweaty concrete that wicks moisture from the earth to the surface and can cause premature failure, mold growth and slippery conditions. We always plan for moisture control.

Can you deliver concrete?

If you’re trying to find concrete company delivery near you, we can help with that. Our main focus is project completion from start to finish, but we can also help with your project if you’re only needing concrete delivery. Because cement plants require order minimums, sometimes it’s just easier and more cost effective to mix on site, but we can go over your options with you.

What is the best time of year for concrete installation? What is the best month to pour concrete?

The best time of year for concrete installation is when the weather is dry and the temperature is mild. For our area, this usually means late summer. July through September are the best months but there are methods to pour concrete in cold or wet weather. A simple rule is if the temperature is near freezing and getting colder, there’s a better day to pour.

How much does concrete cost?

Concrete contractors’ prices will vary among the concrete companies near you. Cement and related materials are still rising, but the good news is lumber prices are starting to come down in 2023. Cement plants must continually adjust their rates and so the concrete contractors in your area have to adjust their prices to compensate. Right now, in the Montgomery County and Houston areas, flatwork can be installed for around $8-$10 per square foot. Stamped and decorative concrete, depending on the finishing options, can be double the cost of flatwork.

Does your concrete company offer financing?

If you’re looking for concrete contractors with financing, your search is over! We can offer financing through a third party lender and will help you with your application to get the ball rolling on your project. Just give us a call for your quote and we’ll get the information we need to start.

What is a concrete contract? Do you have a contract?

An agreement between our concrete company and clients includes several elements such as estimated start and completion dates, construction methods and materials, expectations of what the job will look like when completed, the agreed price, warranty information and more.

What do you call a concrete worker?

There are many titles for concrete tradesmen. The most common term would probably be cement masons. Concrete finishers is also an industry accepted term among the trades.

Is your concrete company licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured to work on your property as concrete contractors in the State of Texas. The truth is, anyone can acquire these credentials. The most important thing we bring to the table is 30 years of hard earned experience!
